Job Description

Position Overview

Massey University is seeking a results-driven Scheduling Analyst to join our Timetable Team within Estates Management, on our Manawatū Campus, Palmerston North.

Fixed-term, part-time role: 20 hours per week.
Contract period: 03 March 2025 – 20 December 2025.
Salary range: $56,622 – $80,006 (pro-rata) depending on skills and experience.

Based within a dynamic team, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient, student-centric scheduling that aligns with our teaching and space requirements.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

A tertiary qualification in a business or operations field is desirable
Experience using timetabling, scheduling, or workforce management software (highly desirable).
Strong customer service skills and a student-focused approach.
Excellent planning, organising, and project management skills.
A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High level of computer literacy, including MS Office, Office365, and SharePoint.
The ability to collaborate effectively across multiple campuses, Schools, and Colleges.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands.
