Do you have a creative flair, excellent writing skills, and experience writing for Web, Marketing campaigns, social media, print publications, and internal communications? We are looking for a creative and adaptable professional to join our collaborative team at the Faculty of Medical & Health Sciences.
As a Content Writer & Coordinator based in the Faculty's Communications and Marketing team, your portfolio will include internal and external communications and focus on our website and other digital content. You will oversee the faculty website, bringing your skills to maintain and develop content and user experience. You will also be involved in various other content projects to promote the faculty and tell our stories.
This is a full-time, 37.5 hours per week, permanent role. The salary range for this role is $62,400 - $77,800 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years solid experience in copywriting skills who is comfortable working in digital environments and is highly skilled in social media platforms. You also might have experience with web publishing Content Management Systems (Adobe Experience Manager strongly preferred). You will have excellent written English and the ability to produce high-quality content for different purposes and formats, including social media, internal communications, and printed marketing materials. You must be proactive, energetic, and comfortable with taking responsibility and managing your projects.

- A relevant Bachelor’s degree
- Have strong written communication skills
- Have strong content and copywriting experience across different mediums (web, print, social media)
- Have strong digital capabilities, experience creating social content and the ability to learn quickly.
- Be committed to excellent quality and have a sharp eye for detail.
- Have excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage positively and proactively with various stakeholders.
- Be a team player with strong relationship skills who enjoys working with others in a collaborative environment.
- Have tons of initiative and be able to bring creativity and new ideas to the role.
- Be highly motivated, self-managing, and exceptionally well organised. You will have strong planning and coordination skills and can juggle multiple priorities.
