Our client who produces top quality, world class heavy transport trailer solutions based in Avalon, Hamilton. They’re on the lookout for a skilled tradesperson with experience in working with electronic trailers and heavy haulage equipment.
Responsibility
Maintenance, repairs and assembly of transport equipment
Diagnosing and fixing faults in trailers and heavy haulage machinery
Working alongside skilled professionals to complete jobs efficiently
Quickly identifying and resolving mechanical or electronic issues
Perform welding, cutting and fabrication tasks as needed to repair or modify trailers and heavy equipment
Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used and service schedules
Requirements
Experience in transport engineering, trailer maintenance or heavy haulage
Knowledge of electronic trailer systems
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
A great team player with a strong work ethic
Understanding blueprints, wiring diagrams and engineering plans is an advantage
Ability to lift heavy components, stand for long periods and work in a physically demanding environment
