The Role:

This role is not just about managing numbers; it’s about making a difference. As the Accounts Receivable Administrator, you will report directly to the founder based in Wellington. Your role will extend beyond typical accounts receivable duties, requiring you to provide valuable financial insights directly related to the AR space.
You will play a vital role in advising management of the company’s financial position, necessitating a high level of initiative, and understanding of your role's function within the business. You will also be expected to master key accounting concepts, such as bad debt, and understand their implications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficient management of accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
  • Advising on financial positions, directly influencing business decisions and strategies.
  • Conduct and manage reconciliations and post journals, ensuring all financial records are up to date.
  • Set and consistently strive to meet personal KPIs, defining what success looks like in this role.
  • Handle GST, FBT, and IRD income tax filings with precision and attention to detail.
  • Assist in the payroll process for a team who are paid weekly.
  • Utilise NetSuite software for various accounting functions
