We’re looking for a International Operations Specialist to join our supply chain team here in Aotearoa reporting to our NZ National Landside Logistics Manager

Joining our team you’ll take accountability for executing the operational tasks required to flow the product from the vendor to Woolworths New Zealand Distribution Centres (DC) on time and in full, per the orders raised. Operations Specialists will also work with 3PLs and utilise their services to move products globally, providing the group with a sustainable competitive advantage in cost and availability.

About the Role | Mō te Tūranga

Key responsibilities:

  • Proactively assisting in identifying hazards and working with Supply Planners and Vendors to improve safety standards
  • Investigation and communication of delayed shipments
  • Execute QBRs and prepare pack and data
  • Supporting Improvement and Buying Projects
  • Supporting opportunities with the Customs brokerage team


About You | Mōu
To succeed in this role you will need to have a minimum of 5 years experience in international shipping or international supply chain, coupled with good understanding of retail, buying and replenishment. Ideally you will have knowledge of CargoWise1 (CW1) and really strong Excel knowledge.
