He angitūtanga / The opportunity:
We are looking for exceptional Catering Assistants to work at University of Canterbury, Tupuanuku Hall. This is a Casual Position. Hours of work are "as and when" required basis during the school term.
Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:
In this position you will be responsible for;
Delivering an upbeat and professional customer service, providing a warm, friendly and welcoming ambiance for our customers.
Basic food preparation and presentation, stock control, Dishwashing, and assisting in general kitchen duties.
In addition, assisting and maintaining general cleaning and food hygiene duties.
He kōrero mōu / About you:
If you're our ideal candidate;
You will be hard working, with a friendly, outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.
Ideally you will have at least 1 years' experience in the food industry and hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167), or be happy to train for one.
Along with your superior customer service skills, you will need to have the ability to work confidently both individually and with a team
Most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality!
