About the Role:
If you have been teaching for a long time or a new graduate, this may be the teaching role for you as we are seeking a Qualified Teacher to join our team in our Harakeke / Toddler room.
This is a permanent position working 27.5-30hours per week Monday-Friday, with the opportunity to increase hours in the future.
Our ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with toddlers (aged between 18 months to 2 years 5 months) and a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration. You will be enthusiastic and bring energy to the classroom, creating a positive, fun and nurturing learning environment where our tamariki can thrive and learn. We value enthusiasm, dedication, growth mindset and ability to foster joy and learning within our diverse community.
Role requirements:
Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. We are looking for the following:
- B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current Teacher Certification
- Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning
- Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
- A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices
- Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
