Job Description
We are looking for a Part-time Dental Assistant to join our wonderful team in Coastlands.
Here at Lumino Coastlands, we are a family-orientated practice made up of highly experienced clinicians and support staff who have been providing good oral health to the Kapiti Coast community for over 20 years.
As the new Dental Assistant, you will support the highly experienced team of clinicians. You will assist them with various and interesting dental procedures during patient appointments. You will also take responsibility for instrument sterilisation, infection control, and stock control. You will be required to help at reception from time to time, so being a people person is essential.
The hours for this role are:
- Monday: 8.00am - 5.15pm
- Thursday: 8.00am - 5.15pm
- Friday: 8.00am - 5.15pm

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience as Dental Assistant is preferred but we are willing to fully train the right person!
- Ideally, Sterilisation and/or customer-facing experience.
- Warm and positive attitude and team-orientated approach.
- Strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail.
- Computer savvy skills with the ability to pick up things quickly.
- Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
