Westpac is a leading financial institution committed to delivering exceptional banking services. We are seeking a dedicated Technology Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Manager to oversee and manage our hardware assets, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.

• Manage IT asset portfolio with respect to risk, cost control, governance, compliance, and performance objectives.
• Examine complex hardware license agreements and deployments to obtain license positions for various hardware vendors and to provide license optimisation advice.
• Analyse Hardware Asset Management (HAM) processes, organisation and tools to identify gaps and options for remediation.
• Load and accurately configure licenses in the license management tool.
• Assist in embedding process to maintain license entitlement data.
• Calculate and report on compliance position, including status and risks.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to validate data, improve quality of information and embed processes.
• Maintain effective partnerships with stakeholders by providing timely support in relation to hardware asset management, procurement and license compliance.
• Provide subject matter expertise to the business on interpreting hardware agreements.
• Input into service design activity to shape the IT asset management function.
• Participate in policy and procedure reviews.
• Actively identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
• Minimum of four years in technology asset management including hardware license analysis reviews and HAM tool implementations/integration.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to conduct meetings with clients and third parties in challenging surroundings.
• Experience with HAM tools alongside other IT service delivery tools to automate hardware tracking, license compliance and hardware metering capabilities would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, research, organisational, issue identification, prioritisation, and resolution and report writing skills.
