New Shoots Sunnynook is currently looking for an unqualified ECE teacher to bring their passion for care, routine, and respect to our team. This is a float teacher role covering non-contact time in the under 3's rooms. Predominately with children 18 months to 3 years, however there will be the need to work in other age groups from time to time. This is a 40 hour a week role working 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
The ideal kaiako in this role will be flexible in their day to day schedule, as a float teacher you are there to help where needed. You will also have the confidence in yourself to learn the different routines for our different rooms. As a person you will have a calm nature, needed when working with toddlers, but you also like to have fun with both your team as well as the children.
