About the role and who we are looking for:

We are looking for multiple enthusiastic Casual Retail Assistants to work at Palmerston North Hospital Café. Hours as and when required, dependent on business needs.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• basic food preparation (sandwich/roll maker)
• providing great front of house customer service
• using the epos till
• at times help make consistently outstanding coffee
• be responsible for making sure that the area in which you work is clean at all times.

To be considered for this role you will have to:

• Be hard working and reliable, with a flexible approach and a 'can do' attitude and well as being well presented.
• Have excellent communication skills with a fluent command of English.
• Ideally, have some experience working in a similar position and hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167).
• Have a passion for great customer service and quality.
