The role As a Service Advisor, you will be the vital link between customers and the service team, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. You'll play a key role in providing expert automotive guidance, collaborating with the service team to schedule and manage vehicle repairs, while consistently exceeding customer expectations.
Duties and accountabilities:
Greet customers and assess their service needs
Provide accurate information on vehicle maintenance and repair services
Schedule service appointments and manage customer expectations
Liaise with technicians to ensure timely and efficient service completion
Communicate service progress and costs to customers
Upsell additional services and maintenance when appropriate
Maintain detailed service records and ensure accurate invoicing
Handle customer inquiries and resolve concerns promptly and professionally
The skills and experience sought
Previous experience as a Service Advisor, preferably in a franchise dealership environment
Familiarity with all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance processes
Solid communication skills, both verbal and written
Good computer literacy (experience on dealership software highly advantageous)
High levels of customer focus and interpersonal skills
Excellent time management skills and the ability to priorirtise tasks in a fast-paced customer service environment
A valid driver's license
