Job Description

What You'll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga

As a Scrum Master, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of initiatives while guiding our agile teams. You'll facilitate agile ceremonies, coach team members, and remove obstacles to ensure smooth project execution across teams and initiatives. You’ll be a part of a team embedding Agile ways of working across teams throughout the organisation.

Your Responsibilities Will Include | Ngā haepapa

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define technical expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Driving initiatives from conception to completion, while maintaining a high-quality standard for technical outputs.
  • Managing dependencies, risks, and priorities to keep initiatives on track.
  • Coaching and working alongside a variety of business, technology, and cross-functional teams embedding Agile ways of working.
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement in both technical processes and agile practices.


About You | Mōu 

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • A strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) 
  • Experience in facilitating agile ceremonies and coaching teams 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • A passion for continuous improvement and innovation 
  • A positive and collaborative mindset 
  • A background in technical delivery and working with technology teams
