Job Description

Established for 23 years, Neat Meat is an NZ business providing premium quality meat cuts to the country’s finest restaurants, hotels and retail outlets.

We are seeking an experienced meat industry Storeperson for our early morning shift in Mt Wellington, Auckland. In particular, you will need to have experience operating material handling and meat processing machinery, identifying a wide variety of meat cuts for sorting and packing, and be comfortable working with meat in a chilled environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and experienced person to further develop their career within our specialised warehouse team.

Responsibilities:
• Sort and move product using material handling machinery
• Operation of meat processing and packing machinery
• Check and match off inwards and outwards goods
• Carry out daily operational checks as required
• Assist with stock rotation and other general duties
• Wash and sanitise all work areas and equipment at the end of each shift

Requirements:
• Previous meat industry manufacturing and warehousing experience
• Experience operating material handling equipment
• Experience operating meat processing and packing machinery
• Confidently identify a wide variety of meat cuts
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Hours:
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 3.00am – 10.30am. Variable hours and finish times depending on production demands.
