About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Class 4 Driver to join our team in Palmerston North. The role is Tuesday to Saturday starting at 7:00am in the morning. Your regular run will see you take in the sights on your way to New Plymouth, complete deliveries and pick ups for our customers and return to end your day in Palmerston North.
You will have at least 6 months' experience driving Class 4 trucks. Ideally you will have experience and an understanding of working with chilled and frozen goods and food safety compliance. You will also have excellent communication and customer service skills, as you'll be the face of Big Chill out on the roads.
Key responsibilities include
Delivery and pick up of chilled and frozen products across the region or North Island
Providing assistance to the Stores team to present product for loading/unloading
Collaborating with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries
Compliance in delivery times and temperature control of customer goods
About You
Based in the Palmerston North area
Qualified Class 4 driver with at least 6 months' experience
Geographical knowledge of New Zealand's towns and cities
Experience working in refrigerated environments is a plus
Demonstrable organisational and time management abilities
