We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Part-time (24hrs per week) High-Volume Accounts Payable to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing a large volume of invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will play a crucial role in the financial operations of our company by verifying and reconciling invoices, handling discrepancies, and maintaining vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage a high volume of vendor invoices in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Verify and reconcile purchase orders and invoices to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain vendor records, including contact information and payment terms.
  • Address and resolve any escalated vendor queries or discrepancies.
  • Support month-end closing processes by preparing necessary financial reports related to accounts payable.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Contribute to process improvements to streamline accounts payable operations.
  • Ensure accurate administration and filing of all vendor-related documentation.


To be successful in this role you will:

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role minimum 3 years accounts experience
  • Experience with completing bank, debtor, creditor and other reconciliations.
  • Experience in using Xero accounting system, online banking systems and intermediate excel skills.
  • Be analytical and accurate.
  • Be flexible and receptive to change.
  • An energetic individual who enjoys working autonomously as well as part of a team, as well as having a positive mindset.
