We’re looking for a Trade Mark Assistant to join the team in our Auckland office. You will be working alongside our Senior Trade Mark Assistant covering various aspects of our trade mark portfolio work including marketplace / common law searches, trade mark processing, filing and renewals and maintaining cost records. Ideally you will already have IP or trade mark experience; however we are open to speaking to legal secretaries who are looking for a change. You will be working with a high performing team and will gain great experience. To succeed in this role you will need:
Experience and/or an interest in trade mark portfolio practices.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Confidence working with databases.
To be a team player, committed and collegial (even during busy times).
An ability to multi task and work independently without supervision.
Excellent attention to detail.
A proven ability to operate discretely with respect to client service and confidentiality.
