Our client is looking for a highly skilled Data Test Analyst to join their team on a 6-month contract based in Wellington., with a focus on leveraging cloud platforms like Snowflake for data testing and validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans to validate data pipelines and transformations.
- Perform comprehensive data quality checks to ensure data integrity across various systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve any data discrepancies and issues.
- Use Snowflake and cloud-based platforms for data testing and validation.
- Document test cases, results, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and other cloud platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail in data quality assurance.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
Desirable:
Experience working with banking or financial datasets.
