About the Role
As our Assistant Banquets Manager, you’ll support the Banquets Manager in overseeing all aspects of banquet operations. From coordinating seamless event execution to inspiring a team of professionals, you’ll ensure every event runs smoothly and exceeds client expectations. Your role is crucial in driving operational success, guest satisfaction, and revenue growth.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Supervise banquet preparations, ensuring high standards and client specifications are met.
Lead a culture of our values to delight our guests.
Train and motivate the banquets team, fostering professionalism and high morale.
Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, maintain equipment, and monitor budgets.
Assist in upselling services and collaborating with Sales to secure bookings.
Address guest concerns promptly and proactively recommend process improvements.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous supervisory experience in banquets or events.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Hospitality qualification (preferred).
A proactive, flexible approach and an eye for detail.
The ability to perform under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor.
This is a full-time role, offering up to $32 per hour.
