Community Registered or Enrolled Nurse - Timaru/Ashburton
We have full-time permanent vacancies for Community Registered or Enrolled Nurses to join our dedicated nursing team in Timaru/Ashburton.

Responsibilities:

  • To exhibit excellence in customer service within a safety and quality focused framework and in a highly flexible home-care
  • To co-ordinate, lead and deliver a professional, responsive, goal oriented and customer focused home care service, including initial visits and reviews, goal setting, and comprehensive support planning, follow up care, treatment, client progress assessment and clinical evaluation.
  • To ensure compliance with referrer instruction, GP orders and established policies and procedures.
  • To provide pragmatic, business focused advice and solutions to day to day service delivery issues with
  • To support and role model co-operative and cohesive working relationships between the registered workforce, care coordinators and support workers to enable staff to be confident and capable in delivering services that are consistent with the quality standards required by service contracts with
  • To contribute proactively to effective relationships with key referrer organisations-e.g. NASC and ACC, and across
  • To support clinical placements for student nurses and allied health students, ensuring that contractual agreements with training schools are met for each


Requirements:

  • Hold a current Full New Zealand drivers' licence
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand
  • Registered Nurse with relevant qualifications
  • Two years medical/surgical or community experience preferred but not essential
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Clear concise communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to support and work within a team but also work autonomously
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong team player who is able to work effectively with a wide range of people
  • Critical thinker and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is required
