Fleetline are looking for a CAD Designer to join our team at our Henderson, Auckland site.

Applicants will need to demonstrate:

  • Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
  • Experience in FRP design and mould & plug design
  • Familiarity with 3D scanning processes
  • Knowledge of CNC Router programming & machine operation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • NZ Drivers Licence.
  • NZ Citizenship or NZ residency
  • Ability to work individually unsupervised, or well in a small team.
  • The ability to accept review, and offer suggestion or opinion.
  • A focus on continual improvement and quality.
  • The ability to work on multiple projects and solutions in a high paced environment


Responsibilities:

  • 3D Design and Drafting of custom parts and components
  • Design of FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) parts, ensuring precision and quality
  • Creation of Mould & Plug Designs for manufacturing processes
  • Utilize 3D Scanning techniques for accurate measurements and designs
  • Program and operate CNC Routers to bring designs to life
