Job Description
We are seeking a full time friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our team in East Auckland, for a 6-month maternity cover position. Monday - Friday (37 hours per week)

The hours for this role are:

  • Monday: 9am-6pm
  • Tuesday: 9am - 7pm
  • Wednesday: 9am - 4pm
  • Thursday: 9am - 3pm
  • Friday 8am - 4pm


As the first point of contact for our dental practice, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth patient experience.

  • Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently using our practice management software
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide accurate information to patients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and files
  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless operations
  • Handle administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and processing payments
  • Maintain a professional and organized front desk environment


Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Previous receptionist experience is preffered, ideally within the medical industry.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency in using computer software applications.
  • Experience with file keeping and data entry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
