ABOUT THE ROLE
As Regional Manager, you’ll oversee a portfolio of salons in your assigned region. You'll lead, mentor, and support Salon Managers and Team Leaders — helping them to grow strong, successful teams that deliver consistently outstanding client experiences while achieving key business targets.
You’ll work closely with the Support Office, Training Team, and other Regional Managers to ensure alignment across the business and bring national strategies to life at the local level.
This is a full-time, high-impact leadership role blending operations, coaching, culture, and commercial accountability — no two days will be the same!
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Leading and supporting a portfolio of salons across your region
- Coaching and developing Salon Leaders and their teams to reach their full potential
- Driving performance across key business metrics: client growth, staff retention, service & retail sales
- Recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent
- Championing the client experience and coaching your teams to deliver excellence every day
- Supporting the rollout of national campaigns, initiatives, and training
- Leading monthly team development meetings and regular in-salon visits
- Identifying opportunities for business growth and operational improvement
- Presenting and facilitating engaging workshops and team training sessions
- Promoting company values, systems, and standards to ensure consistency across your region
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Proven success in leading multi-site teams or large multi-unit operations
- Leadership experience in a people-first industry (hair/beauty, retail, or hospitality preferred)
- Exceptional coaching, mentoring, and performance management skills
- Operational and commercial acumen with a deep understanding of business drivers
- A people-first mindset, high emotional intelligence, and genuine passion for culture
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
- Confidence using digital systems (Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools)
- Full NZ driver's licence and flexibility to travel regularly
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand
