Your role is all about balancing care and accountability - helping customers find solutions while ensuring outstanding debts are recovered effectively. You'll manage collections calls, handle inquiries, and follow clear guidelines to achieve the best outcomes for both 2degrees and our customers. Every conversation is a chance to resolve disputes, collaborate with internal teams and debt collection agencies, and identify ways to improve our processes.

Success in this role means meeting key performance targets, minimising bad debt, and delivering a positive customer experience - even in challenging situations.

How you'll show up | Tu mai Tu Rangatira

  • Collect overdue debt - Work closely with our customers to find the best way forward and ensure outstanding balances are repaid.
  • Handle calls and queries - Manage inbound and outbound collections calls with confidence, providing clear and supportive guidance.
  • Determine collection steps - Use our Collections policy to assess each situation and take the right steps to achieve a win-win outcome for both the customer and 2degrees.
  • Resolve disputes - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure disputes are handled efficiently and resolved within agreed business SLAs.
