Our NZDF team (ESS) have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager and Exceptional Leader who is passionate about motivating staff and performance excellence to drive results at this prestigious Defence site in Papakura, Auckland.

This is a site leadership role that will take full ownership of the day-to-day operational leadership of this camp while reporting directly to the General Manager.

• Lead the development of medium to long-term account plans to grow and retain business.
• Develop strategic business partnerships and client relationships.
• Ensure contract compliance and exceed client expectations.
• Manage financial activities, including budgeting and reporting.
• Implement strategies to develop, train, and motivate the workforce.

He kōrero mōu / About you:

• Strong operational experience in a similar role.
• Advanced commercial acumen with the ability to manage multiple budgets.
• Proven experience in managing successful teams.
• In-depth understanding of Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment principles.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
