Bay Audio Visual is seeking a Technical Producer to join our team. The ideal candidate will utilise their expertise to infuse creativity into our events, effectively coordinate all aspects, and ensure that the client's vision and mission are consistently upheld throughout the event process.
This role oversees the execution of the client's Audio-Visual vision for events, managing consulting, design, and financial aspects. Success means delivering excellent Audio-Visual experiences and strong support to all event stakeholders.
- Champion the AV Design process, translating the client’s vison into reality and guiding them along the journey. Key elements of this would be sending through ongoing updates and providing visual renders of the proposed design where appropriate.
- Keep track of all event costs and making sure they are meeting the expectations of the Client’s budget as well as enabling Bay Audio Visual to meet its financial obligations.
- Be the face of Bay Audio Visual with our clients and stakeholders, being prompt and timely with communication and feedback, so that they feel like they are taken on a complete journey and have complete confidence in the services Bay Audio Visual are providing for their event.
- This is not an isolated role, you will be working alongside our Production Manager, Technicians, Contractors and other Bay Venues staff to enable successful events, to do this you will need to collaborate, glean ideas and be proactive in finding solutions.
- Translate the vision and mission for each event so that you can take fellow team members on the journey, resourcing them, setting them up for success and guiding them through high profile events as an on the floor presence.
The ideal candidate should have significant experience working in live events, particularly corporate ones, and be proficient in event design tools like Vectorworks. They should also have a working knowledge of lighting, audio, audio-visual, LED, and rigging, and be knowledgeable about industry trends and the latest technology improvements.
Strong written and oral communication skills are essential. The candidate must maintain composure and professionalism under pressure, particularly during high-profile events or when interacting with clients. They should be adept at managing conflict, solving problems, and demonstrating initiative. Furthermore, excellent customer service, a positive attitude, and a commitment to putting in extra effort to achieve outstanding results are crucial.
Effective coordination involves having a creative perspective, an eye for detail, and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements within the team.
