About Us
Located in a quiet cul-de-sac in Styx Mill/Northwood, our centre is licensed for 66 children, including a dedicated space for 16 infants under the age of 2. We focus on individualised care and attention, ensuring each child feels supported in their unique learning journey.
Our thoughtfully designed classrooms cater to different developmental stages:
- Kakano – A nurturing nursery for infants up to 2 years old, providing a safe and comforting environment.
- Tipu – An engaging preschool space for children up to 3.5 years, fostering curiosity and early social skills.
- Pihinga – A vibrant prep school environment for children over 3.5, preparing them for their next educational steps.

About the Role
As Centre Manager, you will be a high-impact leader, reporting to an Area Manager. You will drive exceptional learning outcomes for children while ensuring the smooth daily operation of the centre. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships will be key to your success.
This is a permanent, full-time role (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified and Certified Teacher: B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) with a current teacher certification
- Child-Led Curriculum Knowledge: Strong understanding of pedagogy and curriculum
- Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with current ECE Regulations and Te Whāriki
- Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi: Embedded in teaching practices
- Strong Leadership and Coaching Skills: Ability to inspire and develop others
- Innovative Thinking: Open to new ideas and process improvements
