Are you passionate about making a difference in flood resilience and stormwater management? Do you excel in strategic stakeholder engagement and communications? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

As the Healthy Waters Senior Stakeholder Liaison, you will lead and deliver proactive and strategic stakeholder engagement and communications activities for our Healthy Waters projects and initiatives. You will support the Manager Proactive Stakeholder Liaison and the Healthy Waters department by providing best practice stakeholder engagement and communication advice.

Some key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement and communication plans for large projects and campaigns.
  • Handle strategic planning, stakeholder analysis, content creation, event coordination, marketing, media messaging, and customer queries.
  • Manage KPIs and budgets for multiple projects.
  • Identify and mitigate communication and reputational risks, and integrate lessons learned.
  • Promote effective stakeholder engagement practices and support project teams and contractors.
  • Manage or escalate controversial issues involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Maintain positive relationships internally and externally.

You are passionate about representing the stakeholder or “voice of the customer.” You have a proven ability to create and implement successful stakeholder communication and engagement plans.

Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills are what set you apart and you are adaptable to a continuously changing work environment.

You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and have a strong understanding of Microsoft Office, MS Teams, and Ubiquity (or similar engagement software).

We are also looking for the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications
  • 7+ years’ experience in a similar role delivering stakeholder management and communication plans.
  • Evidence of leading Stakeholder Liaison projects in other roles.
