Job Description

The team at New Zealand Couriers are looking for a positive, enthusiastic leader to join our depot team in our Manukau based South Auckland Branch.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this key position is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of our team of 3 staff within the depot.

This is a Full Time position with no weekend work!

Mon-Fri : 7.30am – 5.00pm (45 Hours per week)

Location: South Auckland Branch, 12 Ha Cres, Wiri, Auckland

Duties include:

  • Leading a high-performing team
  • Presenting freight for outbound connections correctly and on time
  • Ensuring inbound connections are met and visibility on freight in depot
  • Health and Safety Compliance
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy depot


The ideal applicant will:

  • Have previous depot and freight experience
  • Be a lateral thinker- problem
  • Be able to manage a diverse range of duties
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Be physically fit – Some heavy lifting required (up to 25kg)
  • Reliable, Punctual and Honest
