An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join a dynamic, diverse and supportive team at BWR Accounting. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of clients’ financial statements.

The successful candidate will be a vital member of the team, demonstrating a good understanding and empathy with clients' businesses, offering positive suggestions to improve record keeping systems or adding process improvements. This role is excellent for an ambitious, knowledgeable and diligent Accountant looking for a new challenge in a growing business.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Accountant, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of the clients' financial operations. You will be responsible for analysing financial information, preparing financial statements and taxation returns, meeting and proactively anticipating client BAS requirements. Your expertise will extend to providing support in areas such as GST, FBT, ACC, cash flow management reporting and forecasting.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Accountant position brings a wealth of experience in analysing financial information, preparing financial statements and taxation returns. You have proven experience in meeting client BAS requirements including providing support in areas such as GST, FBT, ACC, cash flow management reporting and forecasting. Your technical competence extends across all internal and client accounting platforms.
