He angitūtanga: The opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to play an instrumental role in developing and delivering the annual programme of lighting event activations on the Auckland Harbour Bridge. This includes supporting a calendar of key city commemorations and celebrations like ANZAC Day, Matariki and News Year’s Eve.

You’ll be involved in ensuring all of the behind-the-scenes activities that make the programme a success are covered off. You’ll need to be on point with your partnership and stakeholder management, as you’ll lead the arrangement between Auckland Council, Vector, Tātaki Auckland Unlimited and NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi – both in opportunities that could be developed, and in the delivery of the annual programme of lighting events.

We’re talking about a remit that includes leading the communications and marketing plan, getting creative in how to market the light shows, how to create engagement, working with the operations team to make sure all goes to plan, and owning and managing the budget.

He kōrero mōu: About you
We’re looking for solid and demonstrated experience in programme management alongside experience in delivering a communications and marketing programme. Ideally your background will be a blend of marketing, project management and project leadership.

Strong business and financial acumen will come with you, as financial management will be key.

Your proven experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships with multiple stakeholders will also come to the fore.
