We are currently looking for 3 talented Full-Time Retail Assistants to join our vibrant team at Bargain Chemist Dunedin stores.

x1 Retail Assistant - Full time at Bargain Chemist George St.

x2 Retail Assistant - Full time at Bargain Chemist South Dunedin.

As a Retail Assistant, you’ll play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, supporting the store’s day-to-day operations, and helping us achieve our sales targets. You will ensure the store remains well-organized, merchandise is displayed to its best advantage, and customers have an outstanding shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering excellent customer service to every customer.
  • Supporting the day-to-day operations of the store, including stocking shelves and maintaining product displays.
  • Contributing to the achievement of sales targets and store goals.
  • Ensuring the store is organized and well-presented.
  • Assisting customers with product inquiries and making informed recommendations.


Skills and Experience We’re Looking For:

  • Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred, but not essential.
  • Knowledge of health and wellness products, or pharmacy items, is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Quick learner who is eager to gain product knowledge and assist customers.
