Job Description

Job: Electrical Trade Assistant with Mechanical Experience
Location: Auckland Central/West
Pay: $27-$30p/hr

We are seeking a reliable Electrical Trade Assistant with mechanical experience to support our electricians on commercial projects. You will assist in the installation, wiring, and commissioning of BMS controls and mechanical systems, including pumps, boilers, chillers, VRV air-conditioning, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with electrical installations, circuit testing, and fault finding.
  • Help design, wire, and commission BMS systems, including mechanical plant items (pumps, boilers, fans, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and clean work sites, set up tools, and assist with mechanical tasks.


Requirements:

  • Experience in both electrical and mechanical work.
  • Familiarity with BMS systems and mechanical equipment.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Reliable and punctual with transport to site.
