To build and maintain a sound internal control environment and improve the confidence of both internal and external stakeholders, the internal audit and loss prevention team now is looking for a passionate member at a junior or associate level to join us!
What will you be doing?
Assist in developing audit plans, conducting audits, and reporting findings. Provide recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce risks.
Support the Audit Manager in monitoring high-risk policies and ensuring company-wide adherence.
Identify and evaluate potential risks, suggest controls and procedures to mitigate risks, help to maintain the control library, and monitor the action plan.
Assess store operations, summarise findings, and recommend control improvements. Assist in benchmarking store audits.
Provide guidance, facilitate training, and help teams understand audit best practices.
Collaborate with teams across the business to address audit findings and liaise with external auditors when needed.
Support the Internal Audit Manager with additional tasks and initiatives.
What do we need from you?
Familiarity with audit methodology and internal control framework, e.g. COSO.
Accounting firm working experiences are a plus.
3 years of experience in relevant fields.
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance.
Appreciate the Confidentiality of the Code of conduct is crucial. Integrity is also mandatory.
Proficient with Microsoft applications, e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and interested to learn other software applications. Skilled at deriving insights from data.
The role may require travel within the country or overseas. Travel time should not exceed 10% of working hours.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to cope with difficult situations and meet deadlines.
Team player who can interact with both internal and external stakeholders.
Being self-motivated, detail-oriented and committed to the goals of the company.
