We are excited to go to market for a Learning Programme Lead to join Westpac NZ’s Culture, Capability and Learning function and this opportunity has come up due to an internal move, highlighting our great career development opportunities!
This is a rare opportunity to play an instrumental role in delivering cutting-edge and forward-thinking learning and leadership development programmes at Westpac NZ. Key to the success in this role is your deep expertise in learning, leadership development and/or organisational development, with a proven track record of facilitating virtual and in-person development solutions.
You will be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team, passionate about enabling our employees to be the best they can be. We are actively working to become future ready by implementing initiatives that support the successful delivery of the Westpac New Zealand strategy. As part of the Culture, Capability and Learning team, you will be responsible for the scoping, design and delivery of a range of cultural and behavioural in-person and virtual workshops aligned to the Westpac New Zealand strategy including, but not limited to, orientation, graduate and people leader development programmes. Note, the Learning Programme Lead role is dynamic in nature and will require flexibility to support broader team initiatives. Some travel may be required to spend time with our teams across the mōtu.
Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
- Deep expertise in designing and delivering learning and/or leadership development programmes within a corporate environment
- Demonstrated experience facilitating a range of behavioural-based learning programmes including cultural and interpersonal capability build at all levels from graduate to executive level, both in-person and virtual
- Experienced in psychometric and 360-degree survey interpretation and debriefing at all levels of leadership
- Great self-awareness together with a professional and proactive approach, and a learner-centric attitude
- Demonstrated ability to engage audiences with empathy, passion and enthusiasm, driving learning transfer
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
- Knowledge and experience in the application of adult learning principles
- Ability to assess impact of learning and leadership development interventions, analysing data and providing insights to measure programme outcomes and identify any rapid interventions
- Experience of Microsoft Office applications
- Role models the Westpac values and behaviours
- Preferred experience of the financial services sector, or equivalent regulated industry
- Preferred experience working with a learning management system
