Mo te Paerewa | About the Platform:

We have an opening for a CXO (Product Owner) to join our Identity & Integration Platform. The CXO will take care of all things identity at ASB, including identity lifecycle management, identity governance and administration, and identity security, which underpin the authentication, authorization, and security for the rest of the organization.

You'll also lead the way in our technology transformation program, helping us leap into the future and take ASB's strategic identity workstream "One Step Ahead." This means you'll play a big part in planning and assessing our identity maturity and understanding how to transform legacy and on-premise systems into a modern cloud identity ecosystem.

  • In this new role, you'll be the product owner responsible for replacing ASB's Identity Governance and Administration domain product with SailPoint IdentityNow.
  • It is an exciting space to operate, with a mission to give users timely access to the resources they need to do their jobs, no matter how often their roles and responsibilities change.
  • ASB's internal customers will see the benefits of dramatically reduced times, better user experience, and heightened risk controls.
  • You will be responsible for planning the roadmap of work, ensuring the design and delivery of best practices, and maintaining effective work.
  • Leadership in the identity space, managing vendor and internal relationships, and resolving roadblocks will be vital to the success of this role.

  • Key importance will be your passion, energy, and people leadership skills. The IGA team is currently in the build phase, so it's important those joining will demonstrate ASB's values of integrity, passion, courage, caring, and unity.
  • Demonstrating these values will motivate and build the team, spot challenges, and help you unpick roadblocks.
  • If you have domain knowledge of IdentityNow, that would be great, but it's not essential as you'll be able to learn about the product from the vendor.
  • If you don't have specific product knowledge, then experience in other security and/or identity/access management domains will set you up well.
  • Leading a hybrid team with an implementation partner is a requirement.
