Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to manage and establish supplier panels, pre-qualification systems, and frameworks for infrastructure and tactical projects. Experience in infrastructure is a plus, but not essential, as we already have senior expertise in this area. The focus is on effective supplier management and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the establishment and management of supplier panels and pre-qualification systems.
  • Drive supplier management strategies with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior team members and complement existing infrastructure expertise.
  • Oversee procurement processes, ensuring compliance with Government Rules of Sourcing and best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to enhance team capabilities.
  • Prioritise tasks and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.


Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience managing supplier panels, pre-qualification systems, or procurement frameworks.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of procurement processes.
  • Ability to work in a technology-driven environment, focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Infrastructure procurement experience beneficial but not required.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build relationships.
  • MCIPS or equivalent qualification and a relevant tertiary degree.
  • Experience with ERP and e-procurement systems.
