Job Description:
The Company Our client is a global giant in the FMCG sector with their products loved by millions worldwide. They have 2 plants in New Zealand and their Otago plant is a modern, fully automated plant.
The Role As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be performing preventative and breakdown maintenance whilst keeping downtime to a minimum. This is a hands-on role where you will be performing diagnostics and repairs on pneumatics, PLCs, conveyors, pumps, etc. efficiently to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum. This is a highly hygienic environment - previous experience working in FMCG is preferred. You will be working closely with the operators to achieve ideal engineering outcome.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern plant with highly specialised and automated equipment. They have a robust maintenance program in place with fully integrated CMMS. Total package up to $130k per annum. The plant is situated in a lifestyle location and offers excellent outdoor opportunities in the surrounding region.
This is a 4 on 4 off shift, between 6pm and 6am.
In summary, the requirements are,
A trade qualification in mechanical engineering or fitting and turning
Or Full EWRB Licence for electrical trade
Experience with instrumentation is advantageous
Excellent hands-on fault finding skills
Experience working in FMCG with automated equipment
Hands-on production maintenance experience
Able to work as a team
