About the Role
We are seeking a Warehouse Store Person to assist with the management of inventory, stock accuracy, and warehouse operations in an engaging and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain stock organisation, inventory accuracy and warehouse housekeeping.
- Verify received stock against purchase orders and vendor documentation.
- Identify and report discrepancies or damages to relevant teams.
- Prioritise incoming stock and store it efficiently.
- Handle delivery paperwork and coordinate with Finance.
- Arrange domestic and international freight, including return documentation.
- Pick, pack, check (accuracy/QC), and dispatch orders.
- Load and unload deliveries safely.
- Assist with crating and packaging machinery.
- Ensure warehouse supplies are maintained, and stock is correctly labelled.
- Perform cycle counts, spot checks, and annual stock takes.
- Create and process stock transport orders for regional branches.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure operational efficiency.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics companies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and grow.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stock control, or logistics role preferred.
- Confident and clear communication skills – both in person and via email.
- ERP system experience essential (SAP preferred but not essential).
- Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Current Forklift License (Reach truck license required, but training can be provided). If your FL License has expired, the employer can arrange. DL required.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
- Reliable and hardworking, able to work independently and in a team.
- Physically fit and strong – heavy lifting is required.
