About the role:
This role sits within the newly created Commercial Partnerships Team and will support planning, developing, promoting and delivering transport services and supporting infrastructure. You will need excellent commercial acumen and analytical skills and be able to build effective cross functional relationships to help shape big strategic decisions and drive commercial outcomes.
Day to day responsibilities:
Provide commercial, quantitative and qualitative analysis to support decision making across the business
Lead the development of business cases for significant commercial opportunities
Engage with external stakeholders and assist in fostering and maintaining strong and effective commercial relationships
Contribute to the development of systems and tools that improve business performance, consistency and visibility
Analyse, develop and maintain multiple revenue and cost analysis models
About You:
To be successful in this role you will have strong commercial acumen and analytical skills. You will likely have worked in a large organisation or a business that is fast moving or gone through periods of change. You will be able to demonstrate building and operating financial models and business analytics applications to produce commercially valuable insights and advice. Being naturally curious and being able to work in sometimes ambiguous scenarios will be an advantage.
Expert level proficiency in MS Excel to build financial and data analyst models and intermediate proficiency in MS Power Query and or Power BI
Being able to communicate, at times, complex ideas and analysis to a wide range of stakeholders
A background in the transport industry or infrastructure delivery would be useful but not critical
