We are looking for a candidate to fill the recently vacated Capital Finance and Asset Manager position. This unique role combines facility management, asset management, finance, and sustainability, making it one of the most diverse and engaging positions in our organisation
A unique and exciting role has just opened up within our organisation and team to help us advance our asset finance and sustainability management to the next level. The Capital Finance and Assets Manager will oversee the overall management of the organisation's capital finance and assets, including 24 facilities. This role involves ensuring effective management of assets and budgets, delivering capital projects within budget, and meeting environmental performance goals.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the asset management plan and venue strategy.
- Oversee asset acquisition, management, and disposal to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability goals and foster strong relationships.
- Lead capital budget planning, forecasting, preparation, and phased execution.
- Oversee fleet management and procurement.
- Measure and report on sustainability performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and execute strategies to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions.
The ideal candidate would have a tertiary qualification or 5+ years of experience in finance, project/programme, asset management, sustainability, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, business administration, or a related field would also be desirable.
