We're looking for a Communications Advisor to join the Internal Communications team on a short-term three-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team that’s focused on keeping our people informed, involved and engaged in what's happening at IAG NZ.
This exciting opportunity is the result of our current Communications Advisor being seconded to another role within our team.
Our Internal Communications team is the crucial link for employee engagement; driving our people to create a positive culture and foster IAG's values, whilst positively influencing how our people communicate with each other.
The purpose of this role is to help tell great stories! You'll be creating and supporting relevant, timely, and engaging content and initiatives, while managing the use of our communications channels so that people and leaders are informed and engaged in company news, views, issues, and strategic direction. We need a creative and thoughtful Communications Advisor who can produce engaging campaigns that incorporate a range of media including web content, video, and digital media.
This is a three-month fixed-term contract, and you’ll need to be based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland)

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally need to have the following:
- Intermediate business writing skills - able to draft compelling story-based communications, and script write for video and speeches
- Fast, accurate and effective writer with proven attention to detail
- Experience in stakeholder management and relationships
- Experience in developing, managing, implementing and measuring the effectiveness of integrated internal communications campaigns
- A flexible work style with the ability to manage shifting workloads and priorities
- Intermediate to advanced skills with applications like Adobe Creative Cloud suite e.g. Premier Pro, InDesign and Photoshop
