Ōrākei Kindergarten - ECE Kaiako

Ngā Tamariki Pūawai o Tāmaki | Auckland Kindergarten Association is committed to excellence in education. We are excited to offer a permanent, full-time ECE Kaiako position at our vibrant and welcoming Ōrākei Kindergarten.

Start date term 2, 22nd April 2005.

We are looking for a qualified and passionate ECE Kaiako who:

  • Is a registered and certificated ECE Kaiako with current first aid certificate
  • Has a strong commitment to environmental education and bicultural practices
  • Believes in the power of play-based learning
  • Is a team player who is flexible, adaptable, and independent
  • Possesses excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Has strong planning, assessment, and documentation skills
  • Values inclusivity and embraces the diversity of our tamariki, whānau, and community
  • Enjoys working directly with tamariki and getting involved in hands-on activities
  • Shares our passion for nature and integrates sustainability into teaching practices
