We are seeking a Utility Arborist to provide Arborist/Vegetation services to ensure the transmission lines and network are reliable. This work is both part of a programme and fault and emergency situations as required working across the central and lower North Island.

Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

  • Relevant qualification (Arborist Level 4)
  • Experienced in vegetation and arborist work
  • Physical stamina to carry out arduous manual work, often in trying conditions


Desirable Skills

  • Understanding of Land Owner Liaison
  • A thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements, including overhead distribution systems and of the Electricity (Hazards from Trees) Regulations would be beneficial.
  • EWP Operation and Climbing experience
