What you'll do:

As an Operational Risk Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing a Line 2 Operational Risk team, driving the implementation of our client's risk management framework. The role responsibilities include:

• Deliver day-to-day operational risk management initiative
• Provide specialist guidance and support to first line of defence risk functions and senior management
• Act as a key point of contact for escalation of operational risk-related matters
• Develop and recruit high-quality risk professionals
• Monitor enterprise-level performance of risk management activity
• Ensure appropriate Line 2 risk support is provided to strategic projects and change initiatives

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Operational Risk Manager position brings a wealth of experience in developing, operating or advising on effective risk management frameworks within a financial services organisation or professional consultancy. The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 10 year's experience in developing, operating or advising on effective risk management frameworks in a financial services organisation or professional consultancy
• High level of personal drive and enthusiasm
• Strong relationship building and influencing skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (written & verbal)
• Strong coaching capability
