The Role
The key objective of this role is to manage the efficient flow of freight in and out of our Highbrook branch. The work of our operations team is all about ensuring we can pack/unpack freight safely and efficiently, so our couriers can deliver customer freight on time, every time. The Distribution Manager will have a thorough understanding of logistics, be confident in systems and reporting alongside the day-to-day depot operations, including managing team performance.
This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday during operational hours.
Key responsibilities include;
Reporting on and managing team KPIs
Maintaining health and safety standards within the depot
Collaborating with the operations management team, with customer-centric focus
Identifying and implementing improvement initiatives
