Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity

Our Energy & Utilities business is seeking a Telecommunications Service Technician to join our Network Services OSP team. Reporting to the Field manager and based in Rotorua, your core responsibility will be for the upgrade, installation, and maintenance of the Fibre OSP networks of our major customers in the region. Other responsibilities will cover a wide range of activities across the full spectrum of Telecommunications while working within the parameters of time and cost to generate solutions that produce results.

Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

  • Minimum Level 3 NZQA Telecommunications or Equivalent or similar experience in the industry.
  • Knowledgeable with reading and interpreting plans.
  • Current Drivers Licence.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Ability to use fault finding equipment and competent in fault restoration.
  • Committed to safety and well being of yourself and your colleagues
