Join our team at Hamilton Girls High School as a Unit Manager. This is a Permanent Full time position, and you will be the in charge of the kitchen team. You will be responsible for organizing and managing the contract in accordance with Compass Group and client standards for catering and cleaning services. Your role will ensure great quality services that meet client expectations, while managing, developing, and training all team members.

• Develop and maintain effective business relationships with clients, ensuring long-term and mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Plan and control menu-based catering, preparing, cooking, and presenting food to meet client and customer expectations.
• Manage inventory, establish stock control systems, and implement effective food waste management procedures.
• Lead and manage a team, providing training, performance feedback, and resolving performance issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety legislation, maintaining a safe and secure workplace.

• In-depth understanding of Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment principles.
• Proven experience in managing successful teams and single-site operations within the industry.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage a budget and identify business opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to form productive relationships with clients and team members.
• Computer literate with a thorough comprehension of food hygiene practices.
