As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a motivated and organised Accounting Assistant to join our vibrant finance team and help us maintain smooth and efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily bank account reconciliations and tender allocations to ensure sales and bank clearing accounts are reconciled.
  • Process weekly and monthly staff incentives and posting journals in MS Navision
  • Posting weekly & monthly payroll wages journals in MS Navision
  • Assist the Accounts Payable team with processing invoices and other tasks as required.
  • Generate and issue monthly intercompany invoices
  • Manage landlord sales reporting and communicate relevant sales data to landlords via email.
  • Review and process staff credit card journals after thorough review.
  • Assist with processing month-end journals
  • Assist with the preparation of FBT, GST and related filings.
  • Fixed asset preparation and assistance with register maintenance
  • Assist with Balance sheet reconciliations and other month-end related tasks as needed
  • Various other administration functions as required.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven technical skills in Bank and Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • A minimum of 5 years in accounting or finance roles, preferably within the retail or fashion industry.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
  • Strong team player with a can-do attitude with a mature attitude.
  • Quick learner.
  • Working knowledge of MS Navision or similar accounting software highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • A passion for fashion and a keen understanding of the fashion industry is a plus!
