Job Description:
The Company
Our client is a local hydraulics specialist who supplies and services hydraulic equipment, including pump, valves, filtration equipment, etc. They are a local business with a strong presence in the Waikato market, especially in the mobile hydraulics sector. They have a well equipped workshop in a central location in Hamilton.
The Role
Working alongside a few other technicians in the workshop, you will be servicing, maintaining and refurbishing hydraulic equipment as well as performing testing and inspection of the equipment.
We are seeking candidates who have previous experience working in a hydraulics focused role, and have experience with different types of hydraulic systems and components, such as hydraulic rams, power packs, cylinders, hoses, etc. Experience in high pressure equipment and fluid testing and analysis would be highly desirable. Please note candidates who have only worked as a Mechanical/ Maintenance Fitters are likely not sufficient.
In summary, the requirements are,
- Previous hands-on experience in industrial/ mobile hydraulics, ideally with equipment of well-known brands (e.g. Bosch Rexroth, Danfoss, Parker Hannifin, etc.)
- Able to work at a fast pace
- Turning experience is an advantage
- Reliable with a can-do attitude
A leadership role can be on offer for candidates at the senior level, in which extra responsibilities including service management, planning, supervision and training of other technicians can be expected in addition to the hands-on duties.
This employer is accredited by Immigration New Zealand, however, only candidates with significant specialist hydraulics experience will be considered for applicants outside of NZ.
